Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of SugarCARE Clinics programmes and services. Please read them carefully before enrolling.
1. The Service
SugarCARE Clinics provides structured, subscription-based metabolic health programmes for diabetes prevention and management. Services are delivered through physical clinics operating inside partner hospitals across Kerala, supported by a WhatsApp coordinator and periodic doctor consultations.
SugarCARE is not a hospital. We are a structured care programme that operates within partner facilities. For emergencies, always contact emergency services or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
2. Subscription and Billing
SugarCARE programmes are billed on a monthly basis. By enrolling, you authorise us to collect the applicable monthly programme fee for the duration of your enrolment.
- Billing cycle: Monthly, from the date of enrolment.
- Programme fees: As stated at the time of enrolment — Prevention (₹200/month), Early Management (₹500/month), Control (₹1,000/month), Complication Protection (₹1,500/month).
- Price changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice of any fee changes. Continued enrolment after notice constitutes acceptance.
- Recommended durations: 6 months (Prevention) or 1 year (all other programmes). These are clinical recommendations based on the time needed to see meaningful HbA1c change — they are not contracts or minimum commitment periods.
3. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your programme at any time. There is no lock-in period and no cancellation fee.
- To cancel, message your coordinator on WhatsApp or call +91 79948 84799.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. You will not be charged for the following month.
- Fees already collected for the current month are non-refundable unless the cancellation is due to a service failure on our part.
- You may re-enrol at any time after cancellation.
4. Medical Disclaimer
SugarCARE programmes are delivered by qualified doctors and trained coordinators. However, the following apply:
- Not emergency care: SugarCARE is a structured chronic care programme. It is not designed for or equipped to handle medical emergencies. If you experience a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.
- Individual results vary: Clinical outcomes — including HbA1c improvement — depend on individual health status, lifestyle adherence, medication response, and other factors. Patient stories and outcomes shared on our website and in our materials represent individual experiences and are not a guarantee of results.
- Complement, not replace: SugarCARE programmes are designed to work alongside, not replace, any existing treatment you may have with your primary physician. Always inform your existing doctor that you have enrolled in a SugarCARE programme.
- Medication: Medications prescribed within your programme are prescribed by licensed doctors based on your clinical assessment. Medication inclusion varies by programme and is at the doctor's discretion.
5. Patient Responsibilities
To get the most from your programme and to ensure safe care, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete health information at enrolment and throughout your programme.
- Attend scheduled consultations and lab tests as advised by your doctor.
- Inform your SugarCARE doctor of any other medications, treatments, or health changes.
- Follow the diet and lifestyle guidance provided as part of your programme.
- Not misuse the WhatsApp coordinator channel for purposes outside your care.
6. Coordinator Role
Your SugarCARE coordinator is a trained care support professional. Coordinators schedule appointments, follow up on your progress, answer programme-related questions, and facilitate communication between you and your doctor. Coordinators are not licensed doctors and do not provide medical advice. All clinical decisions are made by your SugarCARE doctor.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, HomoRx Healthtech Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of SugarCARE services.
- Clinical outcomes that differ from those of other patients or from published case studies.
- Delays or interruptions to service caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your SugarCARE programme shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the SugarCARE website, including text, graphics, logos, and programme materials, is the property of HomoRx Healthtech Pvt Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without written permission.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malappuram, Kerala.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as our services evolve or as regulations change. We will notify active patients of significant changes via WhatsApp or phone at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of our services after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
